Pearl Jam - Oceans

One of the beautiful songs by my favorite band.... enJoY~*

"Oceans" by PeArL JaM

Hold on to the thread
The currents will shift
Guide me towards you
Know something's left
And we're all allowed to dream
Of the next time we touch..........

You don't have to stray
The oceans away
Waves roll in my thoughts
Hold tight the ring...
The sea will rise...
Please stand by the shore...
I will be...
I will be...
There once more.........

BoHo PiXiE whimsical woodland style dollhouse /WORK in PROGRESS/ by WiLd PeArLy

My whole life I've been fascinated with the world of miniatures, dioramas, puppets, dollhouses... I do make my special designs more often nowadays, and this is just one project example I wanted to share :)...my work in progress on this adorable Boho-Pixie whimsical woodland style dollhouse...so much fun, I can't stand it! Haha! ;)
I set up a little workshop (for this project only) in my exercising area...one more 'excuse' not to work out or run on a treadmill (btw, it's just on the right, behind the table full of glues and paint), LoL!

"The Code Inspector" (Mr. Frodo) on duty

Just playin' with rocks & these super cute miniatures...

'"Hmmm...should I stamp a part of this house maybe??..."

Even unfinished it looks cute & tranquil! ;)

I looove pickles/'baby dills' and their empty jars come in handy as well! ;)

I could easily live here~*

Yes, FREEDOM! ~*

I love peeking through the windows ...no matter what side~~* ;p

Side view/ bay window~*

Oh, pretty shingles!~*

More pretty shingles!~*  ....Not that easy to put on, though....but painting part was so much fun! I've done  like  5-6 layers of different paint, and at the end added that special touch of whimsy> old gold accents! I love it! :)))

And here starts the best part< iNtEriOr dEcOrAtiOn, YaY! I will be adding more photos in my next post....stay tUnEd~*

The Starfish Nymph Sea Goddess

~*Mixed media Taxidermy Metamorph Steampunk brooch/pin*~
Super feminine, exotic, sweet, romantic & wild...this unique handmade brooch/pin features a real preserved Starfish (Seastar). I made the nymph's face with no molds and hand painted it as well. Her face is set on a gunmetal filigree pendant base. Two intricate feather charms beautify her head . A very special accent that adorns her magnificent little body is a great quality (professional Jewelers) CZ (Cubic Zirconia) ! The picture can't justify it's beauty! This little Sea Nymph/Goddess is created with love and will inspire everyone; to love and respect our beautiful Mother Nature and her magical gifts she's been sharing with us forever~*

Please note: this design is not only a brooch/pin ( it can be worn as a pendant, attached on a necklace); but it's also a piece of art...a little sculpture that can meaningfully sit on a shelf, or on the top of a cabinet, amongst your favorite treasures. The item originally derives from my "The Metamorphosis: or Gregor Samsa's awakening" phantasmagorical collection inspired by Franz Kafka's novel ! :)

P.S. And here is a beautiful, associated legend I wanted to share:

~*The Legend of the Starfish*~

A man was walking along a beach when he saw a young boy. Along the shore were many starfish that had been washed up by the tide and were sure to die before the tide returned. The boy was walked slowly along the shore and occasionally reached down and tossed the beached starfish back into the ocean. The man, hoping to teach the boy a little lesson in common sense, walked up to the boy and said, "I have been watching what you are doing, son. You have a good heart, and I know you mean well, but do you realize how many beaches there are around here and how many starfish are dying on every beach every day. Do you really think that what you are doing is going to make a difference?" The boy looked up at the man, and then he looked down at a starfish by his feet. He picked up the starfish, and as he gently tossed it back into the ocean, he said, "It makes a difference to that one."
